Eurail pass
After considering my options concerning train passes, I might be able to get the 10 day global flexi pass. I figured that I can work on campus during part of the summer to pay my parents back for the pass. This way i can go to Lourdes and travel to different countries. So maybe there's hope after all. I just hope my parents will go for it.

If they won't, you could consider just buying the ticket(s) to Lourdes (rather than the Eurail itself) as a backup plan. I have some good friends who stayed behind in Gaming nearly every weekend and wouldn't've changed that for the world. Good luck! :)
I've thought of that too. But we'll see what happens.
